Eratec develops and sells electric kitchen appliances: pizza stone ovens, air fryers, food processors, and multi-grills. Our office, warehouse, and shipping department are all located in Gelsenkirchen. We are currently recruiting for three positions.

  1. Web Design (m/f/d)

    You manage our online shop eratec-germany.com: product pages, categories, and content in German, English, and Turkish. You work directly on the Shopify theme, with product photos and the accompanying text. What you change appears in the shop the next day.

    Tasks and profile

    • Build and keep product and content pages up to date in the Shopify theme
    • Remove backgrounds from product photos, crop them, and prepare them for the shop
    • Test pages on mobile, tablet, and desktop before they go live
    • Add content in all three shop languages
    • Proficient in HTML and CSS, experienced with image editing software

  2. E-commerce Sales Representative (m/f/d)

    You will support sales through our online shop and on Amazon, eBay, Otto, and Kaufland: processing orders, handling returns, and answering customer questions. You will identify what is holding up an order and resolve the issue yourself instead of passing it on. Some of our customers speak Turkish—if you are fluent, you can handle these conversations.

    Tasks and profile

    • Process orders, deliveries, and returns via Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Otto, Kaufland, and other marketplaces
    • Answer customer questions by email and phone
    • Maintain product data, prices, and inventory in the shop and on marketplaces
    • Analyze reviews and customer feedback and report recurring issues
    • Training as a retail professional in e-commerce or experience in online retail
    • Turkish language skills are an advantage, as some of our customers speak Turkish — they are not a requirement

  3. Accounting (m/f/d)

    You manage the day-to-day bookkeeping and keep the figures in order: receipts, incoming payments from the online shop and the preliminary work for our tax consultants. We sell to all EU countries, so VAT in e-commerce is part of our everyday business.

    Tasks and profile

    • Ongoing accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
    • Review, code, and post documents
    • Reconcile incoming payments from the shop and payment providers
    • Preparatory work for VAT returns and year-end closing
    • Experience with DATEV or comparable accounting software
